Inversión extranjera directa y producto bruto interno en el Perú, 1993-2018

1. RESUMEN

En el presente trabajo de investigación se analiza la relación de la inversión extranjera directa (IED) y el producto bruto interno (PBI) en el Perú durante el periodo 1993-2018. El modelo es planteado por Blomstrom. El tipo de investigación es cuantitativo, el diseño empleado es no experimental y descriptivo. El objetivo es determinar qué relación tiene la IED en el PBI durante el dicho periodo. Los principales resultados obtenidos confirman el impacto positivo de la IED sobre el PBI. Finalmente recomienda que mediante políticas integradas se puede aprovechas las oportunidades que la IED pueda generar.

2. ABSTRACT

This research work analyzes the relationship of foreign direct investment (FDI) and gross domestic product (GDP) in Peru between 1993 and 2018. The model was proposed by Blomstrom. The type of research is quantitative; the design employed is non-experimental and descriptive. The aim is to determine what connection FDI has in GDP in the above-mentioned period. The main results obtained confirm the positive impact of FDI on GDP. Finally, it recommends that, through integrated policies, the opportunities that FDI may generate can be exploited.
